Manage lab inventory and asset tagging, including applying asset tags, tracking serial numbers, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Set up and deploy lab hardware: stage devices, assemble and install server racks, install shield boxes, run cabling, and configure network switches.
Facilitate lab moves, buildouts, and space reconfiguration by relocating equipment, furniture, and supplies to keep labs organized and functional.
Perform basic device setup and network registration for lab devices.
Coordinate and assist with equipment maintenance, repair, and calibration performed by external vendors.
Schedule and support vendor and guest lab visits, providing on-site assistance as needed.
Coordinate environmental health & safety (EHS) and facilities needs, including reporting issues, supporting inspections, and maintaining safe lab practices (such as ESD and PPE protocols).
Identify and flag inventory or supply reorder needs to Lab Managers and purchasing teams.
Maintain accurate documentation and diligent tracking of completed work in task management systems, including clear records for lab assets and processes.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree or technical/vocational training in electronics, IT, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory, technical operations, logistics, or hands-on support role.
Proficient in hands-on physical work, including lifting/moving equipment, rack installation, cabling, and use of common hand tools.
Experience with inventory management and asset tracking (including tagging, serial number tracking, and use of spreadsheets).
Basic familiarity with device setup and network registration.
Exceptional organizational skills and close attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for routine coordination with vendors, facilities, and lab users.
Ability to work on-site full-time in Redmond, WA.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field such as Electronics, IT, or Engineering.
Experience working in electronics, wireless, hardware, or R&D laboratory environments.
Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and technical logistics processes.
Experience with device network registration and provisioning in lab environments.
Knowledge of laboratory safety practices, including ESD controls and PPE use, as well as coordination with facilities and EHS programs.
