Eaton’s North American Sales division is currently seeking a Senior Distributor Sales Representative to join its team. This role can be based in Chandler, AZ and will focus on Power Distribution products. This exciting opportunity provides direct responsibility for increasing local market sales through assigned distributors and delivering sales and technical assistance. It also provides hands-on ownership of distributor training, product promotion administration, and inventory management support.
The primary function of Senior Distributor Sales Specialist is to manage and demonstrate strong knowledge of the assigned channel partners within the territory to increase sales in the local marketplace and provide sales and technical assistance. This position will be responsible for directly interfacing with distributors within their territory by providing a variety of sales support and administrative services in inventory management.

In this function you will:
•You will manage a territory that is very dynamic in terms of distributor complexity, volume of locations, and territory size
•You will partner with regional channel director, sales engineers and sales manager/director on a territory channel strategy and plan each year; and effectively execute this plan against set targets
•You will continuously support customer issue resolution
•You will make recommendations to management and channel director to increase effectiveness of initiatives and programs
•You will track and measure distributor growth using sales reporting tools and reviews stock levels with each channel partner on an on-going basis.
•You will strategically evaluate and optimize inventory at assigned distributors to ensure adequate levels of standard control and DE products to maximize sales. Makes recommendations on product changes, layout changes, and stock levels to optimize Eaton's position.
•You will independently develop and implements action plans targeted at YOY growth and agreed performance levels.
•You will make recommendations to management and channel director regarding potential challenges or issues on a case-by-case basis, offering solutions and pro-actively scheduling joint sales calls.
•You will train distributors on how to use internal programs such as Vista, Bidmanager, and the Commitments program
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
•Minimum 3 years in of electrical sales and/or marketing experience
•Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
•No relocation assistance will be provided for this role. Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Chandler, AZ. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $107,500 - 157,500.
Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
