Who are we looking for
A Paralegal Manager will generally have at least six years of experience as a paralegal, including significant experience in the financial services industry, and three or more years of management experience. A Paralegal Manager must work closely with attorneys and paralegals to ensure that high-quality service is delivered to clients on a timely basis. The Paralegal Manager must demonstrate the ability to work with minimal direction from senior attorneys and to train and mentor junior staff. In addition, a Paralegal Manager must demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of day-to-day legal administration services for mutual fund clients and of the 1940 Act.
What will you be responsible for
Keeps current with legal developments.
Supervises the paralegals located in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Mumbai.
Assists in the development of, and leads, a training program for paralegals.
Serves as a resource for paralegals regarding legal, administrative and operational issues.
Serves as a first reviewer of certain materials produced by paralegals.
Monitors workload of paralegals and adjusts workflow as necessary based on shifting client and department demands and priorities.
Develops familiarity with each client’s unique service requirements to ensure quality service delivery.
Reviews current processes and, in consultation with senior attorneys, revises them to address regulatory changes, improve efficiency, or correct weaknesses.
Aids paralegals in developing a career path and identifying concrete skills required for advancement.

Effectively resolves issues impacting the timely delivery of high-quality client service, with attorney assistance as needed.
Demonstrates the judgment, demeanor, and patience to serve as a trusted resource for paralegals.
Possesses strong training and educational skills.
Demonstrates the ability to lead and manage a diverse group of employees in terms of skills and duties.
Works hours that at least partially overlap with regular U.S. work hours.
