The School Psychologist provides psychological services to pupils, staff, and patrons, focusing on behavioral observations and diagnostic consultations. Responsibilities include administering psychological tests, supporting mental health through counseling, and collaborating with Child Study Teams for special education placement.
A Master's degree in School Psychology and KSDE certification in school psychology are required. An Education Specialist degree and 2-3 years of experience are preferred.

The School Psychologist is also responsible to the Coordinator of Psychological Services for program development and diagnostic consultation.
Essential Performance Responsibilities:
Additional Duties: Assists with additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Equipment: This position may require the ability to use SMART boards, scoring software, and iPads in addition to basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, scanners, and fax machine. Must always comply with WPS guidelines for equipment use.
Travel: Limited travel between schools and central offices may be required.
