Requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent ASCP certification. Experience in Proficiency Testing is preferred.

LGC's operations at this site support American Proficiency Institute, the second largest clinical PT provider in the United States. LGC provides services such as IT, dispatch, commercial and customer services to API and its 20,000 customers in the United States.
The purpose of this document is to describe the duties, responsibilities, and qualifications of the Global Technical Specialist, Clinical PT.
As part of the Technical Support team at LGC Proficiency Testing, Inc. (LGC PT), the Global Technical Specialist supports daily activities related to LGC PT's clinical proficiency testing programs.
