Requires a high school diploma or one year of applicable experience, along with a BLS provider certification within 30 days of hire. Candidates must be able to identify cardiac rhythms and manage monitoring tools.
Monitor and evaluate real-time cardiac rhythms on telemetric devices to identify patterns, ensuring immediate awareness of any subtle changes in patient heart activity.
Identify and document irregular rhythms or sudden changes in heartbeats, providing the precise data tracking needed for accurate clinical decision-making.
Communicate critical changes immediately to the nursing and attending physician teams, serving as a vital early warning link for rapid patient intervention.
Manage and maintain telemetry monitoring equipment and inventory, ensuring all lifesaving monitoring tools are fully operational and ready for patient use.
