The Critical Response Nurse provides expert clinical guidance and care for patients in crisis across the hospital, acting as a primary responder for codes and emergencies. They serve as a physician liaison, performing expert physical assessments and implementing delegated treatments in inpatient and emergency settings.
Requires a BSN or MSN/MN degree and a current state RN license, with strong preference for three years of critical care experience. Mandatory certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, with PALS and Trauma certifications required based on site criteria.
