Provide supervision and personal care assistance to participants in an Adult Day Care Program to ensure their safety and well-being. Assist in implementing recreational, social, and therapeutic activities while promoting independent living skills.
Requires a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification and a High School Diploma or GED. Candidates must have at least two years of experience working with physically or mentally impaired adults.
The function of this position is to provide supervision of and assistance to participants in the Adult Day Care Program. The major focus of the position is to maintain the participants’ safety, well-being, dignity and general overall involvement in day-to-day activities, as well as encourage and promote independent living skills. Assist the Activities Facilitator in person-centered planning and implementing recreational, social and therapeutic activities, in accordance with program mission.

Minimum two (2) years’ experience working with physically and/or mentally impaired adults.
