The Optometry Assistant supports the clinical team by preparing patients for exams and performing preliminary diagnostic testing. They are also responsible for managing patient flow, documenting data in the EHR system, and maintaining clinic equipment.
Candidates must have at least 6 months of experience in an optometry or ophthalmic clinical role and a high school diploma or GED. An active CPR or BLS card is required, while bilingual skills and COA/CPOT certifications are preferred.
