The driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients using stretcher and wheelchair vans to and from healthcare facilities and residences. Key duties include operating vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and assisting patients with safe entry, exit, and securement.
Candidates must be at least 20 years old with a valid state driver's license and a driving record compliant with company policy. Applicants must pass a Physical Agility Test and have some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Division Manager, the Stretcher Van Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients on stretchers and in wheelchairs to and from healthcare facilities, residences, and other locations. This role requires dual qualification as a Wheelchair Van Driver and adherence to all safety and patient handling procedures.

These requirements are fundamental to the safe and effective performance of duties and are necessary to meet operational and patient safety standards.
