The Accountant III performs professional accounting duties including month-end close functions, variance analysis, and corporate account reconciliations. They also provide audit support, prepare budgets, and ensure compliance with GAAP, CAS, and FAR regulations.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 4 years of professional accounting experience. Additionally, 2 years of experience in government contracting with a multi-location employer is required.
As the Accountant III, you will perform professional accounting duties that require an understanding of both accounting theory and practice. Provide the full scope of professional level accounting services to assigned indirect departments to include month-end close functions, expense analysis, audit support and corporate account reconciliations. Departments/accounts assigned are generally those of intermediate to high complexity.
