This is a Site Protection Services (SPS) position responsible for Supervising proprietary Guard Forces in the New England area. In this capacity, the Site Protection Services Supervisor reports directly to the Site Protection Services Manager. The Supervisor position is responsible for leading daily operations of a security response team which includes, but is not limited to, the response to various calls for service to include infractions/violations of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Work is accomplished within enterprise and organizational policies, directives, procedures, and work instructions, but judgment and initiative are frequently exercised to ensure alignment with the expected requirements and job performance. You must have the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the incident commander during physical security events, emergencies, and disaster
- Lead site protection operations including access control, visitor and employee entry/exit, patrols, and off‑hour security checks.
- Oversee preliminary investigations of security violations, incidents, and related reports.
- Monitor the security posture of company facilities and ensure proper utilization and performance of security response personnel.
- Supervise daily operations and work assignments for security professionals in a 24/7/365 environment.
- Manage scheduling, resource allocation, assignment rotations, and performance feedback.
- Provide primary input into hiring, promotions, discipline, awards, retention, and termination decisions.
- Coach and develop team members while fostering a mission‑focused, collaborative environment.
- Interpret and communicate security policies, practices, and procedures to internal stakeholders.
- Recommend and implement improvements to systems, processes, and workflows.
- Ensure accurate documentation of incidents within the Records Management System.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Minimum 2 years supervisory or administrative leadership experience in security, law enforcement, or military
- Experience developing or delivering security/law‑enforcement‑related training.
- Experience with Incident Command System (ICS) procedures.
- Experience leading teams working 24/7/365 schedules.
- Experience in scheduling, organizing, directing work, and making personnel recommendations.
- Experience reviewing, editing, and approving security or law‑enforcement reports.
- Experience using Records Management Systems for incident documentation.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Master’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, or related field.
- 10+ years of supervisory experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
- Experience leading teams using a Community Service approach to security operations.
- Experience building team culture centered on mission, vision, and goals.
- Familiarity with physical/electronic security systems and protocols.
- Completion of baseline National Incident Management System (NIMS) courses.
- Knowledge of NISPOM, JAFAN, and ICD requirements.
- Instructor‑level certifications in security or law‑enforcement disciplines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform shift work.
- Active and in-scope Top Secret DoD security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
