The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritious meals according to established recipes while maintaining strict food safety and temperature standards. Additionally, they must manage production records, maintain a sanitized workspace, and assist with inventory and kitchen opening/closing procedures.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of cooking experience and a ServSafe Certification. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Creative Dining Services is looking for a full time Cook to serve our guests at Geneva Camp and Retreat Center, located on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan.
The Cook works within the Dining Services Department to ensure that high quality, properly seasoned, nutritious food is being provided throughout the operation, in a fiscally responsible and safe manner. Works cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services team, assisting with any aspect of the dining services program necessary.
Schedule: Will vary based on camp group reservations. Scheduled shifts will fall in the hours between 6am-7:30pm, including weekends.
