We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Operations and Controls Manager, Digital Currencies.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Lead and oversee all operations and controls for digital currencies
• Support all related projects and act as SME for operational processes, journeys, operations, controls
• Work closely with business finance, product, marketing teams
• Lead and champion customer service initiatives to ensure process and operations balance appropriately between commercial growth and robust operational excellence
• Manage overall FIMs and ensure optimisation of processes both onshore and offshore
• Work closely with relevant risk teams to ensure that processes are in line with internal and external requirements
• Serve as a central point of coordination for cross-functional initiatives, breaking down silos and fostering collaboration across all teams
• Enhance governance frameworks, ensuring effective decision-making, risk management, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, acting as a key liaison between the ExCo and broader teams
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability

Requirements

• University degree holder, preferably majoring in Business Administration or a related discipline
• Working experience in operations
• Proven experience in project support and implementation, especially in launching and commercializing new products or solutions as an advantage
• Industry experience in Hong Kong in a digital asset is a strong advantage
• Experience with leading and optimization of procedures and operational controls
• High degree of personal drive and resilience
• Able to work with stakeholders from various functions and disciplines to drive business outcomes
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with creative and critical thinking
• Strong understanding across different business units in Wealth and Personal Banking
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong and Global compliances and regulatory requirements 
• Knowledge of digital currencies is a strong advantage
