Product Owner – App Experience

Job Grade: Manager / Senior Manager

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize every screen and flow in the Circle app. You will own the "Home Screen" hierarchy, onboarding experience, transaction views, and card control interfaces among others
  
• Manage the product logic for our tiered subscriptions (Circle Plus, Ultra). You will oversee the billing logic, the "Premium" feature gates, and the AI-driven recommendation engine for upsells
  
• You’ll own commercial development for our subscription programs while working with other product owners, including business model creation, stakeholder engagement, and securing founder buy-in
  
• Partner with the tech and data teams to ensure the app provides personalized spending insights and predictive recommendations that actually help users.
  
• Relentlessly seek customer feedback. You will lead user research, A/B testing of UI elements, and funnel analysis to reduce "app churn".
  
• Work hand-in-hand with our Designers to ensure we maintain a consistent, modern, and accessible design system across all platforms.
  
• You will assess market conditions, competitors, and internal capabilities, identify risks, resolve app decisions, and act as a trusted SME on credit card app experience.
  

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in B2C Mobile App Product Management. Experience with high-growth apps in e-commerce, social media, or neobanking is highly preferred.
  
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, mobile-first design patterns, and "human-centered design."
  
• Experience with subscription-based business models or freemium product mechanics (growth hacking, paywalls, tiered benefits).
  
• Obsessed with creating customer delight in every interaction - you care about the animations, the haptics, and the micro-copy that makes an app feel alive.
  
• Demonstrated track record delivering complex initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
  
• Creative mindset with a deep understanding of Gen Z / Millennial lifestyle trends in Vietnam.
  
• Strong stakeholder management skills; you can negotiate technical and commercial requirements with internal tech teams.
  
• Ability to use data to justify the "Why" behind a new feature, calculating expected uplift in engagement
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders. Fully bilingual in Vietnamese and English.
  
• Proficiency in using AI design and feedback analysis tools to speed up the UX iteration cycle.
