The Field Engineer will serve as an entry-level apprentice, developing carpentry skills while assisting the Superintendent with job planning, scheduling, and project documentation. They will also learn to manage RFIs, submittals, and scope statements while gaining exposure to all phases of construction.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and demonstrate versatility with various construction tasks, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software is required, along with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Summary of Position: Blach offers a unique approach to the Field Engineer role. The successful candidate will be primarily working as an entry-level apprentice in the field, building their craft skills as a carpenter during their 4 years of apprenticeship school. There will be opportunities to provide support and assistance to the Superintendent and project team in all aspects of job planning, scheduling safety and quality control, project documentation, developing and maintaining excellent relationships, budgeting, and cost control.
