The Trim Engineer is responsible for developing seat patterns and trim covers using 2D and 3D CAD sources. They ensure manufacturing requirements are met and manage BOM control and change management processes.
Requires a technical degree in Engineering, Textiles, or Industrial Design with preferably one year of related experience. Candidates must be proficient in English, able to travel, and based in Queretaro.

Technical Skills.
Willing to develop ability on:
Seat Patterning - Able to complete seat patterns Understanding and applying one or more basic problem-solving techniques (eg. BEP, Kepner-Tregoe, Six-Sigma, etc.) to help solve a real-world issue. Knowledge of Manufacturing Process and requirements of a Trimcover Understand and basic operating of seat equipment used in trim cover manufacturing (NC Cutter, Sewing Machines etc.) Trim Cover Sewing Safety Requirements within a trim cover Standard components used within a trim cover. Knowledge of Material specifications and guidelines(Cloth, Leather, Vynil,etc) Understanding of 2D component and product drawings. Change management and BOM control Proficiency in Trim cover development from a 2D or 3D information source(ie drawings or CAD). Basic understanding of 3D CAD Models and Vehicle environments.
