The HVAC Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. This work is performed in accordance with operating and manufacturer's specifications.
Candidates must have completed a trade school program in HVAC Mechanics and possess general experience in reading blueprints and knowledge of fire codes and standards. A minimum of one year of experience as a hospital HVAC Mechanic or in a comparable role is required.
Schedule: Full-time, Sunday - Thursday 7am-330PM
Rotational Saturday date as required for PM work
Maintains and repairs heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment in accordance with operating and manufacturer's specifications.
Education
Trade School Successful completion of program in HVAC Mechanics Required
Experience
General Experience and ability to read and interpret blueprints Required
General Experience and knowledge of applicable fire codes and DOH / Joint Commision standards Required
1 year experience as a hospital HVAC Mechanic or comparable role Required
