Candidates must have at least ten years of experience in a construction management environment with a national or regional contractor. Required certifications include First Aid at Work, IOSH or equivalent H&S training, and safety permits for energy works and working at heights.

The General Foreman is responsible to the Contracts Manager and works closely with the Quantity Surveyor. They are responsible for the management of the onsite programme in respect of delivery, workmanship and safety. The General Foreman ensures that adequate and proper labour, plant, materials and subcontractor's resources are available to meet the requirements of the contract and in line with company policies.
