The instructor will manage the analysis, design, and implementation of initial and continuing education programs for licensed and non-licensed operations personnel. This includes teaching in classrooms, plants, and simulators, as well as developing supporting documentation and educational media.
Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering or a High School diploma with 4+ years of specific nuclear experience, such as an NRC RO/SRO license or Navy Nuclear experience. Proficiency in AP1000/PWR systems and the ability to travel internationally up to 25% is required.
AP1000 SRO Training Instructor in Cranberry Twp, PA reporting to the Operations Training Manager. This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days onsite.
Participate in all stages of the SAT process of the initial and continuing education programs of their specialty.
Perform the analysis, design and implementation of initial and training needs in their specialty.
Develop the sessions corresponding to the initial and training courses of licensed and non-licensed operations personnel, including teaching sessions in the classroom, plant, and the simulator.
Manage the analysis, design and implementation of initial and training needs of their specialty
Collaborate in the analysis and implementation of corrections in the simulator when you detect any type of malfunction, also collaborating in the tests that you require.
Coordinate training, providing support to training committees and planning training programs.
Define and collaborate in the development of the supporting documentation required by the assigned activities; and in the maintenance and updating of the documentary support already available.
Define and collaborate in the development of advanced educational means (simulators, multimedia, videos, or models...) related to the assigned; and in the maintenance and updating of those already available.
