Senior Software Engineer I

About the Role:

The primary focus of this work will be working with our Generative AI Chatbots and associated tooling, ensuring that these provide a smooth and cohesive user experience and that they meet the requirements of the business. As we work to extend these bots to become more intelligent, there will also be work with other teams on ensuring that everything integrates correctly.

Additionally, there will be support required for other items that the Customer Services Solutions teams are working on around Generative AI, including integration of Generative AI solutions into our standard tooling, such as Oracle Service Cloud.

Responsibilities: -

• Development & maintenance of Digital Assistant Chatbots 
• Working closely with the business and other technical colleagues, help build and maintain Digital Assistant Chatbots on the kore.ai platform 
• Development & maintenance of other Generative AI technologies 
• Work to integrate Generative AI solutions into existing technologies which the team support 
• Assist in evaluating new solutions 
• Working with the business to evaluate new technologies that they propose 
• Working with architecture to ensure proper processes are followed 
• Liaising with project stakeholders 
• Working with other technology teams to integrate APIs 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
  BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
• Experience working with Digital Assistants / Chatbot Technologies Experience with Generative AI concepts
• Experience of Typescript/JavaScript
• Experience of Python and/or PHP
• Experience of SQL (Snowflake preferred)
• Knowledge of AWS technology
• An understanding of accessibility
• Ability to work on your own or as part of a team
• Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Good oral and written communications skills.
