The Field Safety Supervisor manages onsite health and safety during the construction and operational phases of a large microgrid project. Key duties include leading safety initiatives, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards to maintain a proactive safety culture.
Candidates need at least 5 years of experience in Health and Safety management, preferably within industrial or energy infrastructure environments. An associate degree in a related field and professional certifications like OHST are highly desired.

Responsible to: HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER
Position Summary: The Field Safety Supervisor is responsible for providing onsite health and safety support during both the operational phase of VoltaGrid’s large microgrid project in Abilene, Texas. This role will be established during the construction phase and will remain during operations as the site safety role. This unique, dual-phase role requires expertise in both OSHA 29 CFR 1926 (Construction) and OSHA 29 CFR 1910 (General Industry) standards to ensure a seamless transition from construction through commissioning and into long-term operations. The specialist will lead safety initiatives, support root cause investigations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a proactive safety culture across all site activities.
