Our unique Neurodevelopmental Center offers group services for children and adolescents with autism, and other neurodevelopmental challenges that are not available anywhere else! Our ABA model is inclusive of play-based, compassionate, naturalistic teaching approaches. We provide 1:1 aides for clients who need more support to participate in our therapeutic learning groups, and we offer intensive parent training groups.
We focus on the core challenges clients face that impact their daily functioning and quality of life. We provide therapy to enhance skills such as social connection, emotional regulation, communication, daily living, and sensory development to promote independence and self-determination.
Our group service-delivery model at our center includes:
Our interdisciplinary team consists of speech and occupational therapists, psychologists, psychological associates, pre-doctoral psychology trainees, board-certified behavior analysts, and registered behavior technicians. We work together to ensure children and teams receive expert diagnostic evaluations and a smooth transition to therapeutic services if diagnosed with a neurodevelopmental condition.
Neurodevelopmental Services (NDS) provides essential support for children and adolescents diagnosed with autism and related neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD, sensory processing and behavior difficulties, language and social communication
Responsible for providing clinical supervision and training for Behavior Technicians to meet performance goals, treatment fidelity, and outcomes across all services. Responsible for developing and training Behavior Therapists and leading the clinical team in implementing behavioral and developmental treatments for individuals with developmental and behavioral health challenges.
Must remain physically fit enough to keep clients self-safe. While performing these duties the employee is required to perform the following physical tasks when the need arises:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. This also includes the ability to:• Move quickly/runIf program requires, employee must pass an initial physical abilities test (PATS) and be certified in crisis intervention techniques within the first 30 days and annually. If employed at a Neurodevelopment Services location, employee is required to perform and pass a Human Performance Evaluation Test at a designated company clinic. This will include testing for: lifting, pushing/pulling, repetitive coupling, static weight, and other required movements. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
