The van driver is responsible for safely transporting students between school locations while maintaining a respectful and calm environment. They also provide active supervision and support for students during after-school activities and transitions.
Candidates must be at least 25 years old with a valid California driver's license and a clean driving record. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference given to those with experience in education or youth development.
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable part-time Van Driver for our ten-passenger van to transport students from Stratford Crestmoor Canyon (2322 Crestmoor Drive) in San Bruno to Stratford Middle School in San Francisco (75 Francis Street) and back from the middle school to the elementary school at the end of the day. This daily van transport will take place in the mornings, prior to the start of school, and in the afternoons, after the school day ends at San Francisco Middle School.
Our ideal candidate is punctual, professional, and growth-oriented, someone eager to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives and grow with our school community. Candidates with creative talents and passions in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) and youth mentorship will be given preference, as we aim to enrich students’ after-school experiences through engaging and relevant programming. A clean driving record, defensive driving style, and calm demeanor are required.
