As a Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] at Applied Materials, you serve as the direct liaison with customers, collaborating closely to install, maintain, and upgrade equipment. You'll use digital analytics for troubleshooting and apply basic diagnostic techniques to assess and address technical issues. Your responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various systems such as electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems. Additionally, you'll coordinate and communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.

 

 

役割と責任： 

• 顧客機器の設置、保守、アップグレードにおいて、上級フィールドサービスエンジニア（カスタマーエンジニア）と協力する。
• トラブルシューティングにデジタル分析を活用する 
• 上級フィールドサービスエンジニア（カスタマーエンジニア）の指導の下、基本的な診断技術を適用して機器を評価し、技術的な問題に対処する。
• 電気、真空、機械、プラズマ、油圧、ガスシステムの予防保守および是正保守を実施する（研修あり）
• 顧客と直接連携し、コミュニケーションを取る
• 指示されたその他の職務を遂行する

最低資格要件： 

• 準学士号の取得、軍事技術訓練、現場勤務経験、または職業資格の取得 
• 基本的な機械的適性
• 電気回路図や機械回路図を学び、解釈する意欲がある。
• 基本的な技術的問題の診断と解決の経験
• 効果的な文章および口頭でのコミュニケーション能力
• Microsoft Excel、Word、PowerPointの基本的な知識 
• 有効な運転免許証を所持していること、および旅行が必要な場合はパスポートを取得できること。
• 安全、環境ガイドライン、COVID-19対策を含む、現場におけるすべての要件を満たすことができる。

望ましい資格： 

• 顧客/フィールドサービスサポート、または関連する技術分野での1～2年の実務経験
• 電子工学または工学技術の準学士号
• 空気圧、油圧、電子工学、真空、または熱力学に関する知識
• デジタルマルチメーターを含む手工具とその適切な使用方法に関する知識

身体的要件： 
この職務では、長時間の歩行、長時間の立ち作業、狭い場所での作業、屈伸、しゃがみ込み、ひねり、ひざまずき、手を伸ばす動作、階段やはしごの昇降、高所作業、最大16kg（35ポンド）までの持ち上げ、色の識別能力、電気機器の操作能力、騒音に敏感な人にとっては困難な場合がある騒音環境での作業能力、手工具や電動工具の使用が頻繁に求められます。さらに、この職 務は一般的にクリーンルームでの作業を伴うため、つなぎ服、フード、ブーツカバー、安全メガネ、手袋、呼吸器、化学防護エプロン、フェイスシールドなどの適切な個人用保護具の使用が必須となります。
