Serve as the primary point of contact for TMT clients, providing high-level data, functionality, and product support via phone, email, and chat. Responsibilities include managing workflows, conducting client trainings, and channeling feedback to product management teams to improve database quality.

Candidates should hold a 4-year degree and possess excellent English communication and critical thinking skills. A background in Finance or Economics and knowledge of the TMT industry are preferred, along with a willingness to work night shifts.

The Role: Associate, TMT (Telecommunications, Media & Technology)

 

The Team: The Media & Communications Product Operations team is the main touchpoint for most of our Media sector focused clients. As an Associate, you serve as the “face” of the company. Going above and beyond in our service offering is where this team adds value.

 

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Provide the highest level of data, functionality and product support to S&P Global clients researching/analyzing appropriately and using all available resources. 
  • Answer inbound phone calls, emails, chats from external clients 
  • Effective Workflow Management including logging and tracking information in the appropriate systems in an accurate and timely manner 
  • Chip in to operational efficiency by applying the Lean principles to the day to day job 
  • Use Diagnostic Techniques to go beyond client wants and delve into the why 
  • Record and deliver persona/workflow based client trainings with adequate support and oversight. 
  • Participate in user acceptance testing efforts within area of focus to ensure that products meet the highest standard for client experience. 
  • Document different client queries for product associates in order to build a central repository of information which can be accessed by internal partners on how to best use the product. 
  • Primary point of contact for providing critical research and value-add knowledge to our diverse client base at various companies primarily in US, and across the globe, through e-mails, chat & phone calls
  • Channel client ideas and feedback to our content and product management teams to help improve the quality and accuracy of our database and products. 
  • Work with senior team members on projects and develop subject matter expertise in different sectors of the TMT industry. 

What We Are Looking for:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Open to Graduates of any 4-year degree course
  • Interested in the Media industry
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English)
  • Detail-oriented and possesses strong critical thinking skills
  • Exhibits great interest in learning
  • Basic knowledge of finance, the financial market, and our company.
  • Open to working in varying shifts specifically night shift.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TMT knowledge would be an advantage
  • Finance or Economics background would be an advantage
  • Adaptable to rapid change
  • Provides and accepts constructive feedback
