The Senior BDO is responsible for sourcing and closing new credit fintech partnerships and managing the business development process from initial engagement to term sheet execution. They will also build relationships with capital markets participants and advise executive leadership on market positioning and program economics.
Requires 5-7 years of experience in business development or commercial roles within fintech sponsor banks or scaled credit fintechs. Candidates must possess deep fluency in credit fintech program structures, capital markets, and have an established network of industry relationships.

Hatch Bank is seeking a Senior Business Development Officer to serve as the primary originator of new credit fintech partnerships. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who has operated in the fintech banking ecosystem for years, brings an established network of relationships across fintech executives, capital markets participants, and industry intermediaries, and is prepared to independently source and close partnerships with growth-stage and enterprise-scale fintechs. This is a builder’s role. Hatch operates as a lean, high-autonomy organization. The SVP will be expected to self-source pipeline intelligence, lead negotiations, and move opportunities from first meeting through executed term sheet. The right candidate sees that environment as an advantage, not a constraint.
The Senior BDO will work closely with the CRO, President, and Credit Risk leadership on deal structuring, program economics, and capital markets execution.

Pay Range: Hatch Bank demonstrates fair, competitive, and market-based compensation for our employees. The compensation for this role includes a base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000 as well as eligibility for attractive variable incentive compensation based on new business development. The pay range may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
