Rolls-Royce SMR is transforming the future of low-carbon energy. Our small modular reactor programme is designed to deliver affordable, scalable nuclear power that supports global decarbonisation.
As we continue to grow our Operations capability, we are looking for an IDT Lead to play a critical role in shaping how our reactor containment and in-containment construction is delivered across our future fleet.
As IDT Lead – In-Containment Construction, you will lead an integrated, cross-functional team responsible for defining the programme to design, source, construct and approve containment and in-containment elements within the Reactor Island.
You will bring together engineering, construction, procurement, commercial and regulatory disciplines to create a standardised, optimised assembly approach—ensuring delivery is both technically robust and commercially effective.
This is a highly visible role, working across the organisation and engaging up to Executive Leadership level to build confidence in plans, align strategy, and drive successful delivery.
This role can be based at any Rolls-Royce SMR location, with hybrid and flexible working supported. We are committed to enabling work-life balance while ensuring successful delivery of key programme outcomes.
