Support business development activities, including client engagement, work winning, bid support, and the identification of new opportunities within strategic markets.
About you
Experience managing projects or significant project workstreams within infrastructure, engineering, construction, consultancy or a related environment.
Relevant degree, professional qualification, or equivalent experience in project management, engineering, science, construction or a related discipline.
Relevant Professional Qualification, such as Chartered Project Professional (ChPP), Chartered Engineer (CEng), Chartered Scientist (CSci), or equivalent professional qualification, with proven experience delivering major infrastructure projects.
Willing and flexible to travel to our projects.
Demonstrable experience leading the delivery of complex projects, programmes or commissions across the project lifecycle, which may include design, construction, consultancy, client-side, contractor, traditional/design and build environments.
Strong understanding and practical application of contract forms, particularly NEC3 and NEC4.
Experience managing projects against time, cost, quality and safety requirements, with the ability to monitor performance, manage change and take corrective action where required.
Effective leadership and team management skills, with the ability to set clear direction, create accountability, support development, and motivate multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
Commercially aware, with practical experience managing project finances, forecasting, change control, risk and contractual requirements to support successful delivery and protect project performance.
Actively supports the development of less experienced project professionals through day-to-day coaching, sharing best practice, providing constructive feedback, and helping to build a collaborative, inclusive and high performing project environment.
