The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth for Shaw Contract and Patcraft across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau. This role serves as the primary commercial leader for the region, partnering with strategic dealers, design firms, end users, contractors, and key industry stakeholders to increase market share, expand specification activity, and identify new business opportunities. The successful candidate will leverage strong relationships within the commercial interiors community while developing dealer capabilities and supporting the continued growth of Shaw's presence across workplace, hospitality, and education segments. Based in Hong Kong, this position reports directly to the Vice President of Greater China.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau by developing and executing regional business plans aligned with division objectives.

• Manage and strengthen relationships with strategic dealer partners, ensuring dealer engagement, capability development, and successful market execution.

• Grow specification influence with architects, designers, end users, contractors, and project stakeholders across the commercial interiors market.

• Identify and develop new market opportunities, with particular focus on expanding Shaw's presence within Workplaces hospitality and education segments.

• Collaborate closely with dealers, contractors, strategic account teams, and Shaw commercial teams to secure project opportunities and increase market share.

• Analyze sales performance, market trends, and project pipelines to establish priorities, allocate resources, and achieve growth objectives.

• Review project opportunities and market intelligence to identify, pursue, and assign strategic sales opportunities throughout the region.

• Conduct presentations, product training, and educational sessions for designers, dealers, contractors, and end users to increase brand awareness and product adoption.

• Serve as the regional expert for Shaw Contract and Patcraft brands, supporting specification development and project conversion from design through installation.

• Travel regularly throughout Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau to build relationships, support dealer partners, and advance strategic projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant business experience.

• 8+ years of successful sales, business development, account management, sales leadership or commercial market experience.

• Experience specifying commercial interior finishes.

• Experience working with dealer networks, channel partners, distributors, or specification-driven sales models.

• Proven ability to develop business relationships with architects, designers, contractors, end users, and other commercial project stakeholders.

• Fluent Cantonese and English language skills.

Physical Requirements: You must be physically able to execute the following tasks:

• Travel in an airplane to Taiwan or Shanghai

• Carry product samples and lift up to 30 to 50 pounds of weight.

Other Requirements: In addition to the physical requirements provided above, you shall also ensure the following, during the term of your employment with the Company:

• Have a valid passport;

• Possess good organization skills and be able to set business goals and budgets and measure the results;

• Maintain a professional dress code; and

• Operate a calculator, personal computer, cellular phone, facsimile machine and fax machine.

Highly Preferred Experiences

• Commercial flooring industry experience, including carpet tile, resilient flooring, or related interior finish products.

• Existing relationships within the Hong Kong commercial design community, including architecture, design, contractor, and developer networks.

• Experience selling highly specified products through architects, designers, and commercial project channels.

• Experience managing and growing business through strategic trade dealer partnerships.

• Commercial interiors experience within adjacent categories such as ceilings, wall finishes, architectural products, surfaces, textiles, or other specification-driven building materials.

• Experience conducting business in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and/or Macau markets.

• Experience coordinating complex projects involving dealers, contractors, designers, and end users.

• Demonstrated success expanding business into new market segments and developing underpenetrated territories.

Training Requirements: The Company expects that you are experienced in sales, familiar with international business and possess reasonable knowledgeable of the industry manufacturing processes and products.
