Working at Zure
Zure is a brand new face in the Azure consultancy scene in the Netherlands. We launched with a small team in May 2025 in Utrecht, backed by over 100 Azure experts across other Zure countries in Europe. The technical foundation is solid. Now we want to build the commercial side with the same intention.
What this role is actually about
We need someone to own our commercial function in the Netherlands. That means building real relationships with the right clients, developing our Microsoft partnership in NL, and growing the business in a way that's consistent with how we work: no shortcuts, actual value delivered.
You report to Geert (CEO Zure NL) and sit in the leadership team. Over time, if it makes sense, you'll build a small commercial team under you. But right now this is a hands-on role. You won't be managing a pipeline dashboard. You'll be filling it.
We're open to this being a fractional arrangement for the right person.
What you'll be doing
Building and managing client relationships at CIO, CTO and CDO level in the Dutch market
Driving our Microsoft partnership: co-sell, joint pipeline, events and local visibility
Working closely with the delivery team to make sure we win the right assignments
Developing business across our focus areas: platform engineering, AI-assisted software development, and data on Azure
Contributing to positioning and marketing in the Netherlands

We aim to work on hard problems. That goes for our consultants and it goes for the commercial side too. We're not looking for someone to close low-hanging fruit. We want someone who seeks out complex clients with real challenges and helps us position Zure as the right partner to tackle them. If you're more comfortable with a warm pipeline handed to you, this probably isn't the right fit.
Community
Zure loves the community. Most of our founders met in the Microsoft community at conferences. We believe Zure and its people should be visible and active in that world. Part of this role is helping make that happen: spotting the right events, creating the right moments, and helping put our consultants in the right rooms.
Who you are
You have a track record in commercial roles in B2B tech or consulting. You know how to build pipeline, manage senior relationships and close deals without overpromising. You understand the Microsoft Azure ecosystem well enough to hold a credible conversation about platform engineering, AI, data and cloud architecture. And you have an actual network in the Netherlands at the right levels.
You're comfortable in a small team where there's no commercial playbook handed to you. You'll need to build it.
