You will provide day-to-day support for network incidents and change requests while managing the installation and configuration of network infrastructure. The role involves working across the full lifecycle, including design, documentation, and live transition using modern engineering practices like automation and IaC.
Candidates must have 8-15 years of experience in enterprise network engineering with expertise in Cisco routing, switching, ACI, and firewalls. A CCIE certification is strongly preferred, along with proficiency in SASE, ZTNA, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
This is a remote position.
Location / model: Remote-first — Nearshore EU (Poland preferred) or Offshore India ·
Engagement: Contract (B2B / inside umbrella) or FTE Rate (nearshore EU): €225 / day
About the role
You'll join the network infrastructure and operations team of a large, regulated UK financial services organisation. You'll provide day-to-day support of incidents and change requests, and own the installation, configuration and support of production, non-production and disaster-recovery network infrastructure. You'll work across the full lifecycle — design, documentation, build, live transition and support — and apply modern engineering practice: Software-Defined Networking (SDN), automation and orchestration, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and advanced observability, to deliver resilient, secure and scalable services.

Regulated financial-services network estate (Cisco core, Check Point + Cisco firewalls, Meraki, F5, Cisco ACI, cloud-integrated). Emphasis on secure, internet-facing, highly available services.
Experience
8–15 years in enterprise/regulated network engineering. CCIE (Enterprise or Security) strongly preferred given the breadth of the stack.
