The Head of Automation and Control manages the department's automation and fluid hydraulic systems, ensuring safe and consistent operation during performances and rehearsals. They are responsible for staff leadership, budget management, and coordinating technical strategies with the production and artistic teams.
Candidates must have at least seven years of experience as a Head of Automation in large-scale theatrical productions, including expertise in modern control systems and hydraulics. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with an OSHA 30 General Industry Safety Card.
