WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
THINK-ACT-BE SAFE - At Western States, we empower every employee, every day to work and promote a safe environment to ensure all employees, vendors, and clients have a safe work environment while adhering to all applicable procedures and standards. This includes maintaining clean/clutter free personal work areas and wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE) as identified in safety policy.
This position is responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining standard jobs, including serial number specific standard jobs complete with Repair Bill of Materials (RBOMs) and repair definitions. This role will also serve as a centralized resource for the Service Department and Product Support Sales Representatives (PSSR’s) for quoting and estimating repair work. Working closely with the Customer Service Representative, Team Supervisors, Field Dispatchers and PSSR’s, this role will ensure that timely, accurate quotes are provided to customers as outlined within customer care standards.
Researches and accurately creates standard jobs (including prototypes), RBOM’s and repair definitions for preventative maintenance, components, and machine rebuilds with appropriate serial number and arrangement number splits. Utilizes Cat Time Requirement Guide (TRG), Cat Equipment Repair Labor Guidelines (ERLG), history searches, review of other dealer/Cat standards
