The Operational Effectiveness Specialist will lead the implementation and maintenance of an operational effectiveness system at the Kiena Mine Complex. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, monitor performance metrics, and foster a culture of operational discipline.
Candidates must have post-secondary education in a relevant engineering or business discipline and 7 to 10 years of experience in mining or heavy industry. Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies and bilingualism in English and French are mandatory.

Your Role at a Glance
Reporting to Manager - Mine, the Operational Effectiveness Specialist will be the owner of a newly developed operational effectiveness system for the Kiena Mine Complex. This role will lead the implementation, stabilization, and ongoing maintenance of the system, ensuring it is embedded into daily operating routines and delivers measurable improvements in safety, productivity, reliability, cost performance, and operational discipline. Working cross-functionally with Mine Operations, Maintenance, Mill, Technical Services, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Finance, and other site teams, the incumbent will support continuous improvement initiatives, strengthen performance management routines, and help build a sustainable culture of operational excellence.
