The housekeeping assistant will perform general cleaning tasks and maintain cooking areas to meet health, safety, and hygiene standards. They are also responsible for operating cleaning equipment safely and supporting service users within the campus environment.
Candidates must be willing to undertake additional training and possess the ability to communicate effectively and work within a team. Experience or training in infection control, manual handling, and behaviour support strategies is considered desirable.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Linn Moor Campus to carry out housekeeping and related tasks to identified standards so as to contribute towards the delivery of a quality service designed to meet the needs of the service users with the Campus.
The post will be term time only (38 weeks), Monday to Friday. 9.30am - 1.30pm (negotiable)
Ability to work in an environment with service users who demonstrate challenging behaviour and able to respond effectively to challenging behaviour and use and train in Behaviour Support Strategies (BSS)
