Candidates must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana with at least two years of nursing experience. A valid driver's license, the ability to pass a criminal background check, and the capacity to perform physical tasks like lifting and transferring patients are required.
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing high-quality nursing oversight for individuals receiving medical services within the Residential Services Division, including Canal Pointe, Community Living Services, Medical Respite, and Supportive Living Services, where clinical oversight is required.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for ensuring quality medical oversight through activities that include, but are not limited to, reviewing medical evaluations, laboratory results, and treatment recommendations; consulting and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals; observing and coaching direct support staff; monitoring medication administration practices; and performing other related duties as assigned. The RN works to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, promote best practices, and support positive health outcomes for the individuals served.
