The Direct Support Professional assists individuals with disabilities in daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and household chores. They also provide support with financial management, medication administration, and community engagement activities.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license. Applicants must also be able to pass a state background check, though no prior experience is required as training is provided.
The Disability Services team is dedicated to promoting self-sufficiency, independence, and active community engagement for individuals with developmental disabilities of any age. DSP support services may be provided in the consumer's home, in their local community, or in a residential setting.
