Support Defence training activities by preparing ranges, operating electronic target systems, and performing general site maintenance. Responsibilities also include land management, environmental programs, and first-response bushfire firefighting activities.
Applicants must be Australian Citizens with a manual driver's licence and the ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance. Experience in firefighting, emergency services, or holding specific PUA certifications is highly regarded.
Ventia has an opportunity for a Range Operator to join our team at Puckapunyal Defence Base.
This hands-on role supports Defence training activities across the Puckapunyal Range Training Areas and other Range training environments.
Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll be involved in range operations, target systems, maintenance, land management and bushfire response activities.
No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys practical outdoor work and being part of a team that delivers essential services.
