Your Role
As a Shift Worker at Adele House, you’ll be a key part of the team, helping create a safe, respectful and supportive environment for residents. You’ll support residents with their day-to-day needs, assist with entry assessments and help ensure the smooth operation of the service. Working alongside our AOD casework, inclusion and counselling teams, you’ll contribute to holistic, person-centred support that helps residents move towards their goals.
Your Responsibility
Support residents in a respectful and non-judgemental way
Help residents work towards their case plans and connect with services
Support daily operations, activities and accommodation standards
Respond calmly and appropriately to challenging situations
Maintain accurate records and contribute to team meetings
Follow WHS, risk management and safety procedures
You Will Need
Availability to work atleast 3 active night shifts per week, 10.00pm to 6.00am
Cert IV in Community Services or relevant experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Sound judgement and crisis management skills
Good computer literacy and record-keeping skills
NSW Driver Licence
