The technician will develop 3D SolidWorks models, assemblies, and manufacturing documentation for electrical switchgear and low voltage assemblies. They will also manage BOM structures, engineering change processes, and provide design support to senior engineers.
Candidates should possess an associate degree in engineering or drafting and proficiency in 3D CAD software, specifically SolidWorks. Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and the ability to work independently in a technical environment are required.
Brief Job Description:
• To work in a global engineering environment supporting design activities for new product development, improvement projects, and switchgear/LVA product lines.
• To work on project assignments—including SolidWorks modeling, assemblies, manufacturing documentation, Bills of Materials, and engineering change activities—to maintain the quality standards set by the organization.
• Work on design and development of parts/assemblies and provide design packages including 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and BOM structures for electrical switchgear and Low Voltage Assemblies (LVA).
• Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance while supporting senior engineers and project teams.
• Adherence to engineering and project management processes set by the organization.
