The 3rd Shift Laser/Punch Supervisor leads overnight laser and CNC punch press operations to ensure production schedules are met while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role involves coordinating workflow, mentoring operators, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize throughput and efficiency.
Candidates must have 3–5 years of experience in laser cutting, CNC punching, or metal fabrication, with at least 2 years of leadership experience preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required, while an associate degree in a related technical or business field is preferred.
Position Summary
The 3rd Shift Laser/Punch Supervisor is responsible for leading all laser cutting and CNC punch press operations during the overnight shift. This position ensures production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, efficiency, and employee performance. The supervisor provides leadership to laser and punch operators, coordinates workflow, resolves production issues, and partners with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Production Planning to maximize throughput and support customer delivery requirements.
