The Package Handler is responsible for loading and unloading packages into delivery vehicles and trailers, as well as sorting and stocking packages based on postal codes. This role is physically demanding and requires adherence to company-established handling methods.
Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and have full availability to work from Sunday to Thursday. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, and applicants must be able to work up to 25 hours per week.

The Package Handler’s position is a physical fast-paced and labor-intensive role within a warehouse environment that involves sorting/stocking packages as well as loading and unloading them into and out of UPS package delivery vehicles and trailers.
Job Type: Part-Time - Permanent

Workdays: Sunday to Thursday
Shift Start Time: 12:00 PM - 1:30PM
Shift End Time: 5:30 PM - 6:30PM
Pay rate: $18.15
APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK UP TO 25 HOURS PER WEEK
Load and unload packages into package delivery vehicles and trailers
Learn and properly execute company-established package handling methods
Sort and stock packages based on postal codes
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) without assistance
Full availability to work Sunday to Thursday (all five days of the week)
Must be able to work 25 hours per week legally
Ability to read and memorize postal codes
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
Comfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles
Warehouse experience - Preferred
Pay rate of $18.15
Automatic pay rate progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement (top rate: $30.11/hr. after 48 months)
