Oversee the implementation of capacity building programmes and manage high-quality training for health workers in Gaza. Coordinate with national and international colleagues as well as external stakeholders to drive impact in a complex emergency.
Candidates must have experience in humanitarian health capacity building and the ability to adapt to challenging environments. Must be able to travel quickly through Jordan and secure visas on arrival with eligible documentation.
Role: International Training Manager

Hours: Full time, with some weekend and evening working required to support the humanitarian programme delivery.
Duration: Up to 31st of December 2026 (max three 6-week rotations).
Location: Gaza (occupied Palestinian territory) – field-based with potential regional travel to Amman, Jordan.

We are currently expanding our emergency health response in Gaza, where communities are facing a prolonged and highly complex humanitarian crisis. We are seeking an experienced International Training Manager to support and develop UK-Med’s capacity building offer.
As International Training Manager (Gaza), you will represent UK-Med on the ground - overseeing capacity building programme implementation, working alongside national and international colleagues, coordinating with external stakeholders and partners and managing and developing a high-quality and empowering programme of training.
Our ideal candidate will be experienced in humanitarian health capacity building, highly adaptable, with a willingness to collaborate and succeed in a fast-moving and highly challenging environment.
