The Liaison Officer will maintain long-term relationships with the Kangiqsualujjuaq community and implement on-the-ground engagement activities. They will also gather community feedback, integrate Indigenous perspectives, and support the coordination of project-related meetings and documentation.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Kangiqsualujjuaq regional realities and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in the local language is required, while functional English and knowledge of French are considered assets.

About Us
At Torngat Metals, we are developing the Strange Lake rare earths project, located at Brisson Lake, where we currently operate an exploration camp. The company is currently in the process of submitting the necessary studies to obtain permits for all project infrastructure, which includes:

Reporting to the Director of Community Engagement and Partnerships, you will play a key role in maintaining long-term relations with the Kangiqsualujjuaq (Nunavik) community and implementing on-the-ground engagement activities. This role will evolve as the project progresses, offering you the opportunity to actively contribute to a strategic initiative for both the region and Canada.
