Position:
Shift: Full-Time; Monday – Friday; 8am-5pm EST
ONSITE:

Our Laboratories Functional Service Partnership (FSP) team plays a direct role in advancing drug development by creating sustained groups of talent within our customers’ organizations to provide long-term support. Through this collaborative approach, our professionals bring their commitment to excellence, industry knowledge, and operational strength directly into customer environments, helping to enhance capabilities and advance the delivery of life-changing therapies.
Key responsibilities:
As a member of the Formulation Development team, this role will support the drug development programs through dissolution testing and dissolution method development. The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience with laboratory work with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science, Immunology, Biology, Molecular Biology or similar
Assoc Scientist: Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0-2 years’)
In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Develops, troubleshoots and conducts dissolution experiments in support of drug product process development
Performs dissolution stability testing on drug products
Maintains accurate records of experiments and results in an electronic laboratory notebook and authors reports as assigned
Designs, executes, and interprets experiments with a high degree of reliability and independence
Maintains general lab equipment, including HPLCs and dissolution systems.
Collates and interprets data systematically, and compiles results into conclusions or recommendations for discussion with manager
Authors and reviews reports, as assigned
Participates in the preparation of presentations and may present experimental conclusions at internal department or project team meetings
Demonstrates ability to provide high quality data collected in a compliant fashion in support of regulatory submissions and/or manufacturing
Demonstrates effective, self-sufficient communication skills, especially in peer/team discussions
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage priorities, and maintain timelines
The ability to work successfully in both a team/matrix environme

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $25.00–$30.00.
