DESCRIPTION
Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Product Specialist III supporting the Environmental and Process Monitoring (EPM) Business Unit, where you'll contribute to revenue growth and customer success through technical sales expertise. You'll represent our portfolio of scientific instruments and solutions in the EPM space, working closely with customers to understand their environmental monitoring and process control needs. You'll deliver effective solutions that enable them to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a technical advisor specializing in environmental and process monitoring technologies, you'll develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts while providing technical expertise across the sales cycle. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and technical support to implement sales strategies and deliver exceptional customer experiences in environmental and industrial process monitoring.
REQUIREMENTS
• Master's degree plus 5 years of technical sales experience in relevant scientific instrumentation, laboratory products, or life sciences industry, with preference for experience in environmental monitoring or process control technologies
• Preferred Fields of Study: Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline
• Deep technical knowledge of assigned product portfolio and applications, specifically in environmental monitoring, process control, and analytical instrumentation
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, regulatory requirements, and customer requirements in environmental and industrial process monitoring applications
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to explain complex technical concepts related to environmental and process monitoring technologies
• Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
• Travel requirements of 25-50% within assigned territory
• Proficiency in English required, additional languages valued
• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
• Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscape in the environmental and process monitoring sectors
• Experience delivering technical demonstrations and training for environmental and process monitoring applications
