Make a Difference in Home Health & Hospice
As the Director of Clinical Excellence, you will work closely with senior leadership to drive clinical operations excellence and improve processes across our home health and hospice affiliates. This is a unique opportunity to make a measurable impact on clinical outcomes and operational efficiency by implementing best practices, developing resources, and supporting leaders in the field.
You will collaborate with field leaders to develop streamlined processes, provide educational resources, and ensure consistent application of best practices. If you’re a seasoned healthcare leader with a talent for improving operational processes, we want you on our team!
What You'll Do
Provide high-level leadership and strategic direction in the development of clinical programs, policies, and practices that ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Lead efforts to improve clinical quality, safety, risk management, infection control, and patient outcomes across multiple locations.
Work closely with clinical leaders to ensure agencies are survey-ready, offering tools, resources, and training to foster operational readiness and compliance.
Partner with leadership teams to develop and implement performance improvement initiatives, track clinical and operational data, and refine processes to achieve consistently high standards of care.
Direct the coordination and creation of educational programs that enhance staff competency, new hire orientation, and ongoing training initiatives, ensuring clinical teams are always equipped to meet the latest regulatory and clinical standards.
Compile and analyze clinical quality data to identify trends and implement improvement strategies. Report on patient care, safety, risk management, infection control, and customer satisfaction to drive decision-making and improvements.
Stay up to date with evolving healthcare regulations (e.g., Value-Based Purchasing, PDGM, quality measures) and ensure that the organization remains compliant.
Travel 2-3 days out of the week that is planned and flexible.
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of experience in home health and/or hospice leadership with a demonstrated track record of clinical quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and team development.
Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
In-depth knowledge of the home health and hospice industries, including state and federal regulations and survey readiness.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to inspire change and drive continuous improvement across multi-site organizations.
Strong experience in data analysis, performance improvement, and the ability to implement solutions to complex clinical challenges.
Travel required across Tennessee, with a focus on building relationships and driving field-based clinical excellence.
Location: Cornerstone Service Center - Nashville, TN Travel:Approx. Up to50% or 26 weeks| Full-Time
Compensation: $110,000-$120,000
