The MRI technologist is responsible for producing high-quality MR images while ensuring optimal patient care and safety. They must perform venipuncture, manage intravenous access, and adhere to strict ACR safety guidelines across multiple health system locations.
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology or MR Imaging program. Required certifications include ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
