Assists the Fraud/Risk Officer in administering the Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Program and serves as the primary backup. Responsible for conducting due diligence reviews and monitoring compliance with BSA, USA Patriot Act, AML, and OFAC regulations.
Requires a high school education with additional training preferred and the ability to comprehend legal and regulatory materials. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the physical ability to work in an office environment for 40+ hours per week.
The Compliance Specialist II is responsible for assisting the Fraud/Risk Officer in developing, implementing and administering all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Program. This position acts as the backup of the Fraud/Risk Officer during the absence of the Fraud/Risk Officer. This position is responsible for various due diligence reviews and monitoring in the area of Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Customer Identification Program compliance using industry standard regulatory guidance sampling methods to ensure the Bank's compliance efforts are maintained on a daily basis.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Work will occasionally be done outside in all weather conditions.
