Role Levels:
We are hiring for two different levels within this posting:
Culinary Cook II (Entry-Level): Perfect for professionals looking to build foundational culinary skills and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, luxury kitchen environment.
Culinary Cook I (Lead-Level): Ideal for experienced culinarians ready to take ownership of preparation, execution, and maintaining the highest culinary standards.
*Candidates will be considered for the appropriate level based on their experience and qualifications.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Prepare or assist in preparation of hot and cold food items as specified in specific work area.
Support breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service in restaurant or banquet setting.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment following safety guidelines.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and ServSafe standards.
Assists chef with maintaining the kitchen and keeping staff on task.
Understand and adjust recipes according to business levels.
Assists with organization of product, equipment, and necessary paperwork.
Precisely follows portion control, presentation of food, consistency of food, and flavor as determined by the culinary department.
Checks coolers for proper rotation of food items to prevent spoilage.
Ability to check and complete mise en place and pars to set up the station.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.
Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Takes required breaks
At higher levels, you’ll take greater ownership of execution, quality control, and team support within your station.

What we are looking for:
High School Diploma or G.E.D
2 years of preferred culinary experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
The employee is occasionally required to lift/pull/push up to 50 pounds and will be working in conditions that are both inside and outside at times.
